About - A Message from the President
The Publicity Club is the industry's Club. Unique in our community, where everything we do is designed to entertain, educate, stimulate and inform.
2007 has been an exciting year for the club. The year when the club embraced the huge changes taking place within our industry. The year when we started on a journey which will ensure the club is in tune with our market and sets out to provide a "fit for purpose" organisation of which we can be proud.
Obviously a big part of that process is CHANGE. We have been ringing the changes - mostly internally so you won’t necessarily notice much, but one thing you may have spotted is our subtle change of identity. We have introduced a "new look" to our brand which hopefully reflects the style and confidence of the club and its future and, of course, retaining our not-for-profit status - raising funds for charity.
Our committee consists of volunteers from a wide variety of disciplines which come under the PUBLICITY umbrella.
They are a hard working, dedicated team who give of their free time to assist the Club in achieving our objectives be it in social/entertainment; education; membership; finance; sponsorship; marketing/PR and events.
If you work in a business which comes under the heading of PUBLICITY - TV, Radio, Press, Advertising, PR, Design, Marketing, Digital etc., then please look into membership and join YOUR club.
